ggriswold
I should have made this 15 years ago, but has been great to have around to test for correct wiring on adapter cables. Run a lead from each TA5 pin out to a terminal strip.... a breeze to check with a meter.
Eric Toline
That's not a test jig, this is a test jig. I made it 20 years ago to test the remotes I built for HHb & Fostex DAT machines.
ggriswold
I have built and rebuilt tube pre-amps, transmitters, remote control boxes and video gizmos... I know this is stupid simple, but effective. Anything not to tear open a TA5 connector works for me, also an easy way to check your work after assembly. Rick Reineke
Seems like a handy item to have around. Would be good with a Lemo and Hirose too. There are even more of a PITA than the TAs.
