thenannymoh
Hi - recently put together a couple of SNA600 antennas feeding an Audio Wireless DADM226. I'm currently connecting them using Lectro 50 ohm cables (25'). For bag organization, I'd like to attach the cables to DADM229 with right angle bnc adaptors. Anything I should be aware of or careful of when introducing extra connectors and adaptors into the chain? I don't want degredation in quality. Thanks! Trey LaCroix
The loss from a right angle adapter should be negligible. In my experience, rf cable makes more of a difference. You might want to find out how much loss in the 25’ run. If it’s a Lectrosonics branded cable it should be low loss.
John Blankenship
Lectro produces quality products -- however, understand that it's the type of cable, not the brand, that determines cable loss. The capacitance and length are primary determining factors. Yes an additional connector introduces a bit of loss, but it's typically a fraction of a dB and not noticeable under anything other than critical measuring conditions.
