I sometimes use it with a 302 for back up and have to use a couple of pads to bring the level down to be acceptable. The line level in isn't really line level.

My story happened 25 years ago when I was visiting Toronto and was to meet a friend for lunch. He was an technician for CBC radio art the time , so I waited for him in the lobby of the old Church Street studios. As we were leaving, Eddie Murphy was arriving for an interview. Dave and I ended up having lunch across the street by the hotel pool with Marianne Faithful. Well... not at the same table, maybe, but several tables away and that wasn't enough , as we went back to CBC who was coming out of the lobby but Oscar Peterson. I haven't encountered any celebrities since then: I guess 3 in a day was my alloted quota. :0) Jon

Thanks for the link, Jeff. I have to say, I downloaded the Ocarina app and found it to be a real musical instrument capable of producing real music. I guess I'm the only one here that found this exciting. The ocarina probably sounds best played in consort, like Crumhorns, in renaissance music. I first heard Ocarinas play well in the Bertolucci film 1900. Pretty haunting stuff. Any woodwind players would get a kick out of this. Anyway... I wouldn't mind if someone wrote a decent audio recorder for the iphone. Cheers Jon Goodman
