rpm
Hi All, I'm curious about the perceived value of the 744T. I'm thinking about upgrading to the 644 or 688 due to a need for higher track counts, but I'm curious as to what a realistic return is for my 744T. It's in great condition and I just sent it in to SD for small fixes. Gotham, TAI, and B&H offer between $1,300-$1,500 but it feels like I'm losing a lot because of their need to (understandably) turn a profit. Cheers! BAB414
I have one that I now use as a backup recorder on the cart. At this point, I'm going to keep it. I wouldn't expect to get more than $1800 for it these days, on a good day.
Constantin
A quick Google search will reveal your answer. If those dealers 1,300 - 1,500 I'd say that's a good deal.
Philip Perkins
Yours is worth more than one in unknown condition since it's just been looked over by SD--that's def worth something. Another factor is the age of the internal HD, as well as peripherals (esp CS1).
