snd.waves
Hey all, Am on a travel job, shooting with a 5D, and have lost the hotshoe mount to a small HD monitor, and now have a bad situation with my Senny G2 taped to the tripod arm, and getting unplugged all the time, and generally pissing everyone off, and mostly me. Does anyone know of a hotshoe adaptor that will allow my G2 unit and the monitor to coexist on top of the camera? Cheers!

Olle Sjostrom
Check K-teks awesome accessories! www.ktekbooms.com (I am not affiliated with K-tek, just like their stuff and their service)
Davideo
I use this from Alzo Digital. I wouldn't recommend putting much of anything on the 5D hotshoe, One bump and you could break it off.

Looks a lot like the Norbert from K-tek

johnpaul215
I have a K-Tek K-SPT. It will even hold my Zacom RX900S with just some Velcro (what I initially got it for). One of their mounts should fill the void, and worth keeping in the kit as a problem solver.
Rainier Davenport
I can recommend the Rycote hot shoe extender. I use it all the time when they want to put the monitor on the camera. Don't they know that is for the sound receiver! Mine takes quite a lot of weight and has worked quite well.
