iMix
Just curious what most of you use for VOG setup. I am currently using a wireless stick mic and M-audio speakers, and I hate the way it sounds. I have never needed VOG until this show, just wanted to get an idea of what works for those of you who use it regularly. Thanks for any advice. Richard Lightstone, CAS
JBL Eon's. A pair of Shure SLX wireless receivers with Shure SM58 handhelds. I picked the frequencies close to my Block 21/22 Lectrosonics so I can tune them in if needed in the "Mode 6" setting. One is for the Director, the second is for the AD. Eric Toline
God requires big woofers & lots of power. Not some puny 5" woofer pushed by a 10w amp.
old school
The JBL Eons are light and powerful enough and I use the 10" & 15" units. How you hook up the mic is up to you. Richards system is a good way to go but old fashion wire works as well.... CrewC
RPSharman
Lectro receiver plugged into JBL EON515 using "cut" setting. Remote Audio push-to-talk SM58 with plug-on transmitter. Proper instruction to keep mouth close and speak loudly should eliminate any feedback issues.

iMix
Thanks everyone. Just ordered the push to talk SM58 and will first try with my 800 watt self-powered Alto speaker, receiver on speaker, and butt-plug. Biggest concern is feedback, and I bought rack-mounted feedback killer (DBX224V) but if I dont need to use it all the better...
