Anyone actually using this accessory?   Is the Cable Stiff or soft and Flexible?  I Want to use it for my MS Rig from my 8040/50 microphone and install a Binder connector to go to the Rycote Con-Box.

Thanks

Rycote might still be able to provide you with the cable you need (MZL > binder) as the flying lead conn box was a recent change. If you want something good on a boom (soft and flexible) this may well be the best solution.

dan. (i don't like soldering binders)

I actually own one of these cables, I think I took it out of the box once to look at it, but don't recall it's flexibility or lack thereof. I'll check it out again when I get home next week.

Please do thanks. I'm starting to think thats its going to be to thick to go into a binder connector. Correct me if I'm wrong.  Its hard to tll from the picture and no shops hav it in stock in Toronto and dont want them to bring it in just to check and realize this wont work.

Glen, I have two of these cables to work with my MKH8050's. Bought them intending to use them for car scenes to rig up plant microphones on the visors. Never put them to any use, since I never got to work on any car scenes. However, the cable is very flexible, soft and easy to bend. Which was one of the main reasons I invested in them.
