old school
That was a great little teaser about Mr Dennis Maitland and his Biography and Life Story as a Soundman. Sorry to say, I have never had the pleasure or good fortune to meet him, but I know his reputation and the respect of his peers in NYC. I have talked with his son and daughter a time or two concerning work when I was working in their part of the world. I want to read the book. Thanks for the post. Daniel McIntosh
About 35 of us were fortunate to have been able to attend. It was held at the Disney screening room and Mr. Maitland spoke both before and after the screening of "Lenny". He really enjoyed the storytelling and the Q&A. (It was also hopefully a kick off of the pre-publication book tour.)
