David Waelder
Funny, I saw him just today and he looked healthy, not at all as if he were about to shuffle off this mortal coil. Oh, right, it's a "Career Achievement Award," not a Life Achievement Award. So, Jeff, we hope you have many more opportunities to build on your accomplishments. Congratulations. old school
Here Here, and a hear hear to Jeff Wexler and the work he and Don and others who had the luck to work with him have done. It is not often easy, mostly it's hard to do it at all, but JW gives it his all to whatever project he works on big or small. Big fan of the Man who loves the art n all aspects of "The Cinema"... CrewC BTW, is Jeff retired??? Just kidding Lightstone.
John Coffey
There are very few active mixers with credits that match Jeff - see http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0923306/ However, as CAS Vice-President, I look for other factors that separate Jeff from the rest. Mainly that is the fact that he constantly gives back to the audio community in numerous ways. Factoring in that criteria, in my mind no one deserves the honor more than Jeff Wexler. Omar Milano
Indeed John. Had it not been for Jeff's kind support and "mentoring" approach, my project would still be in the dark. Congratulations Jeff, and I am NOT missing the CAS banquet next year! Cheers,
