Funny how things work fine untill you release them into the real world! We'll get to work on it. I'm curious, does the errror prevent you from navigating the site? Thanks again! Charlie Parra
FYI I am still getting the error. Thanks Everyone! Scott, my web guy is still scratching his head trying to figure out what the error message is about! It only seems to affect Mac users. Hopefully, we'll get it figured out soon! Denecke.com
Hello! This is Jeff here (I'm not sure where Charlie got "Scott" from...lol) the webmaster of www.denecke.com. I was wondering if you could all check out denecke.com and see if the pop-up warning stating: "Dear webmaster, please remove <script src='http://f-source.com/support/ActiveContent2.js' type='text/javascript'></script> from the page" is still occuring. I've tried a fix and I believe the issue should be resolved. Just be sure to delete your web browser's cache before visiting the site. If the error still appears, please post here as to what it's saying. Thanks! Jeff Webmaster - www.denecke.com
Sergio Sanmiguel
I believe Charlie was referring to Scott Farr's post. I'm using Safari emptied my cache & it's still giving exactly the same warning...
Guest jimg
Hi, Jeff aka Scott I'm running Mac 10.4.9 on a G4 laptop. I get the warning in Safari, but not in Firefox. Otherwise, the new site looks and works great. JG

FSBELLA
hey guys, try going thru a sound co. link page. I know it is not the same thing as the mac users problem that is occurring, but you can access the new site (nice job charlie, very informative) thru sites such as lsc, gotham, and coffeysound.com charlie, I bumped into spike, she used to work for Denecke like 10 years ago?? she told me some cool stories about Mike and how she helped design the logo indireclty thru a comic strip she did. hope all is well, keep up the great job and outstanding customer service. Charlie Parra
Thanks for the info everyone! We'll have to keep working on it! Frank, thanks for the kind words! Yes, Spike was really fun to work with. The Denecke Logo is from the "Father Time" Comics and Calendars we used to put out. It's been a couple of years since I've seen her. I hope she is doing well! Denecke.com
The trouble shooting continues! :-) When time allows, please try the following link: http://denecke.com/testnav.htm This is a test page I've setup with another potential fix for the error warning window that seems to be popping up in Safari. If you still get a message, please post the exact contents of the message. Thanks! Jeff Webmaster - www.denecke.com

Denecke.com
This is a good sign! :-) Now how about when you go to: http://www.denecke.com Does the warning still come up in Safari? If so, please post the exact message. Also be sure to clear out your browser cache before trying this. Thanks! Guest jimg
Hi, Jeff I get the same: Dear webmaster, please remove <script src='http://f-source.com/support/ActiveContent2.js' type='text/javascript'></script> from the page The warning box comes up with every link to a new page. Clicking the "OK" radio button clears the warning and the new page appears. Otherwise, as I said before, the site looks great. Steve Eagle
you may want to check with f-source.com and see if they allow deep linking to their JavaScript files.
Denecke.com
What's still rather strange is I have changed the HTML code on the www.denecke.com home page so that the javascript from f-source is now being called up from our server that the web site is hosted on rather than an "external source". The line of code being mentioned within the warning box that pops up doesn't even exist any longer. It has been changed to: <script src='Navigation/ActiveContent2.js' type='text/javascript'></script> Not being familiar with Safari, I'm wondering if there's isn't some trace of the site still residing in Safari's cache. I'll will continue to look into it and ask that you please post here any new observations! Thanks! Jeff Webmaster - www.denecke.com
Denecke.com
Good Morning! It's been a few weeks since we've talked about the error / warning message that was popping up for people using the Safari web browser and visiting denecke.com. I was wondering if you could all do me a favor (if you're using Safari) and visit denecke.com once again and see if the warning is still coming up. If it does, please post a screen shot here in this thread. As a reminder, please be sure to clear your browsers cache / history and all cookies before doing this test. Thanks for your time! ProSound
It says this in a pop up window: "Dear webmaster, please remove <script src='http://f-source.com/support/ActiveContent2.js' type='text/javascript'></script> from the page"
Charlie Parra
Hi everyone, The Denecke site seems to be running smoothly now. I want to thank everyone for their input. It was a great help in finding a sloution. I'd like to mention two new site sections: 1) Product reistration is available online. Anyone who has purchased a Denecke product within the last year can register it at: http://www.denecke.com/Support/Product%20Registration/productreg.htm 2) Just for fun, anyone that would like to submit a picture of a Denecke product on the set can do so here: http://www.denecke.com/About%20Us/Sync%20In%20Action/pics.htm Thanks again!
