Hi Chris,
As others have mentioned, it sounds like the Hall Sensor is bad. Since you are over seas, we can send you a replacement sensor. They are $15 plus shipping. Please send us an email (info@denecke.com) with your shipping info and we can get one out to you.
Thanks!

Hi Charles,
Hmm, that's interesting. I can't say that I've seen that before. It looks to be something with the camera phase/scan?
Let me give it some thought...
Thanks.

That assumes that chassis ground and electronic ground are strapped together. Sometimes that is true and sometimes the two grounds are not connected and if Pin 1 on the Lemo is not connected, the cable will not work. I would always connect Pin 1 on the low side but see no need to connect the low side (shield probably) to the Lemo shell. In fact, in some situations, that would open the path for a ground loop and increase the possibility for putting T/C audio into your primary audio path.

Doug is correct on this......

Yes, you will need the ground signal to complete the circuit, as Derek has mentioned.

My condolences, Jeff.

Charlie said in another thread that it charges via USB.
Hi guys,
Yes the battery is recharged through the USB port. A fully depleted cell takes about an hour to re-charge. The internal battery should last 2 years or more before it needs to be replaced.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery, Jeff!

Hi Millar,
it sounds like the DC/DC converter may be noisy. Most likely a capacitor. Please send it in at your convenience and we'll take care of it for you. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We haven't found one that meets our specs yet. If we do, we'll certainly offer it.
Thanks, Glen!

When does it ship ?
Al ( kept the secret )
Hi Al,
I knew I could trust you.
We have a few loose ends to tie up. One of them is letting all of our distributors know (It's a surprise for them too). We're projecting the release date to be July 29th, more than likely sooner.

Glad that you guys like it!

Stay tuned, there's more cool stuff on the way.

Hi Joe,
That is part of a broken surface mount bypass capacitor. It should function O.K. without it, but I would suggest sending it in for repair as son as possible. The slate more than likely too a hard fall.
I hope this helps!

Charlie

Glad that you are doing better Marc! Hoping for a speedy recovery.

Happy birthday, John! Enjoy your time off.

Hi Segauz,
We do not currently offer a side handle for any of our slates. I am not aware of anyone else who does either.
Thanks for your input though. We will definitely keep it in mind.
Best Regards,

Congratulations to all involved. Enjoy your "free time" Larry!!
