Henchman
Looking at that, it's really looking like game over for other post production console manufacturers.

It's actually quite useful with a long enough window to display it. It's certainly yet another visual cue that can be great in many situations. I'm looking forward to this. I'm wondering if they'll keep their Artist range. I would think so as the S3 should be substantially more expensive. I think a small S3L is around 18k list, so one would think the controller by itself would be about a third maybe (?). So at 6+k that's a reasonable step up from the Artist series with better quality faders etc, which makes me think they'll keep them for the masses. It also makes me wonder roughly where they'll price the S6 in its smallest configuration. But well know soon enough.

Jeff Wexler
For those who don't bother to go to the website: That is one unbelievable machine. It looks like it is going to be the best of the Euphonix System 5 and everything else that came before with the Digidesign control surfaces. I had forgotten that Avid bought both Digidesign and Euphonix.
