Yes, I've used it. It was the first sold Betso. I like it. It has all what you need from slate. The brightness is good. I haven't discovered any cons. Haven't used the new Ambient slate. In compare with old Ambient and Denecke.

I've received mine last week
Really like the design , the construction, feels solid,  plus of course all the new features it offers

Paired with a TCX-2+ it makes sync very easy :-)

Got mine last week. SOFAR LOVE IT!. Using it paired to a tcx-2 transmitting continuously jammed from my 688.

slightly smaller and more refined than old faithful ts-c.

Comes in a hard storage case as does the tcx-2.

How it holds up ...Time will tell...

As a one man band, this slate is great for docs and smaller productions. They are smaller compared to the Denecke TS-3. I've heard camera department doesn't like these as they are too small to write info on. So basically I can see this as a great travelling or small production slate like the TS-C, but not so much for main production.

For the product itself, it's a great slate. I was worried the numbers may be hard to read but they seem fine. Build quality is great.

What I'd like to see Betso do is make a larger version and a rain cover case for these. I really like the betso ecosystem and what they are offering.

Using one on a job right now, A & B cams have TS3's and C cam has the Betso. Working well so far and 2nd AC's love it.

Have to change batts on TS3's every couple of days, Betso was going for 2 weeks before needing battery change.

New firmware released, to make it compatible with movie slate app

I notice there are bumpers on the corner of the slate. Where did you get them?

I just 3D printed them using TPU filament, and put some Joe's sicky stuff the hold them in the corners

Curious how these have held up since being released into the wild. They have many nice features, but can handle the physical abuse that the Denecke's do on a daily basis??

Also curious about this.  In the market for my first timecode slate and comparing all the options out there...  TS-C seems most ideal as a lot of my work is doc, but this isn't much bigger.
