Apples and oranges...

Nomad in a bag, Deva on a cart with a nice mixing panel (analog or control surface) in front of it.

If you want a light weight bag, Nova with integrated receivers is the winner.

Ask yourself what you need for the clients you're serving.

Zaxcom Nomad 12 vs Zaxcom Deva 5.8 - Which one would you choose & why?

Nomad is tiny (also nice for a cart), have neverclip, have zaxnet, have auto trim, have Oasis possibility, have Touch, individual on/low radios, multiple trims to one fader. Deva have touch screen and a nicier file control. IMMO the Nomad is a much modern machine

If you were primarily going to be on a cart type set up would you go with a Deva for any reason when Nomad 12 is the alternative if both were priced equally?
