jazzbo Posted November 17, 2023 Report Posted November 17, 2023 Does anyone know where I can score some replacement bands for my Rycote Schoeps M/S mount? (These hair ties aren't cutting it) I tried Redding Audio to no avail. Thanks! Quote

JonG Posted November 19, 2023 Report Posted November 19, 2023 I have this same system and a few different bands. I didn’t find anything particularly satisfactory. So I removed the suspension rings and bought some new Rycote lyres and MS grip, and super glued it together. Works great. Quote
Johnny Karlsson Posted November 19, 2023 Report Posted November 19, 2023 Not sure what the exact size would be, but maybe this could be something to start your research: https://www.locationsound.com/psc-rubber-band-for-pscs-universal-shockmount--979 Quote

The Immoral Mr Teas Posted January 31, 2024 Report Posted January 31, 2024 Ha, thanks for sharing Jazzbo. Reckon I would buy a couple more packs if I were you and store them. Looks like something that may not exist in a few years time ... Jez Quote
ivanovich Posted February 8, 2024 Report Posted February 8, 2024 I found a nice assortment of rubber gaskets (the thin orange kind) that have a very similar feel in the plumbing section of my local hardware store. they look and feel almost identical to the ones from the previous generation rycote mounts Quote
