Guest BobD Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 What kind of an idiot takes pot to that type of a work related event? The President? Maybe a more in depth security check than normal? Glad they arrested the person....... The stupidity warranted an arrest.... Just plain dumb..... Still against the law in Iowa.... You simply must be smarter than that... Another example of why sound people are not always the smartest tool in the shed...... And I am a proud member of this club.... Quote
Rob Lewis Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 What a poor representation of the sound community! He should be ashamed..... Quote
old school Posted April 29, 2010 Report Posted April 29, 2010 That's why they call it Dope. BTW, it wasn't me. I say give the brother a break, all sorts of tools in a kit. CrewC Quote
John Blankenship Posted April 29, 2010 Report Posted April 29, 2010 I met a Chicago cameraman last night who said that he knows the guy. Apparently, he's a soundie out of Chi town who was traveling back from Arizona and got the call for the gig in Iowa. The cameraman said he's a good soundman. John B. Quote
soundtrane Posted April 29, 2010 Report Posted April 29, 2010 Yeah, as Crew says, give him a break - he was not found inebriated on the job! What one does later is one's own thing. -vin Quote
Rainier Davenport Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 I hear he never had any problems with the top of frame with the Boom as the camera op never had ask him to 'get a little higher!'... I hear he was big in the Environmental movement, 'very Green'... You could say his career has 'gone up in smoke'... Oh stop it... OK Quote
Marc Wielage Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 And went "one toke over the line." And on the Rocky Mountain Way, he couldn't get much higher. (Sorry -- got classic rock on the radio, and it's influencing my web activities.) --Marc W. Quote
