WaterlooNorm Posted April 6, 2024 Report Posted April 6, 2024 Maybe too soon, too painful as the body is still warm.. but, what have you been considering for the future? Quote
Jim Rillie Posted April 6, 2024 Report Posted April 6, 2024 We (my company) will continue using our Cantar minis and X3 until they are pried from our hands, or until some manufacturer comes out with something as good sounding, that handles dynamics as well, and is as intuitive to use (once you are used to the way), includes easily readable sound reports, and is as configurable etc etc I know, this is all just opinion, but there are quite a few of us out there that feel the same way, I think. VASI Posted April 7, 2024 Report Posted April 7, 2024 Pretty sure, Cantar X3 and Cantar Mini; will still record sound for many years; unless a fatal damage will be happen. Still 788 works fine after many years. Quote
Yves marie omnes Posted April 8, 2024 Report Posted April 8, 2024 whatever happen in the future i’m pretty sure that a maintenance service will be available… and so far even if aaton is dead i keep some hope they can reborn. we work on it …🙏🙏 Quote
Fred Salles Posted October 21, 2024 Report Posted October 21, 2024 Hello, for any Cantar owners that might be interested, Gilles from Tête de Mort (ex-Aaton approved maintenance center in France) just posted this on the CantarX Facebook page: " We are about to send an email to all the Cantar owners but we realised that we were missing a lot of owners' emails. Please send us an email with your name, location and type of machine and serial number(s) : clubcantar@gmail.com " Quote
Michael Wynne Posted October 23, 2024 Report Posted October 23, 2024 Will also hold on to my Cantar X3 for what I hope is many years to come, also invested in Scorpio as a second rig. Both great, varying strengths. Quote
