We (my company) will continue using our Cantar minis and X3 until they are pried from our hands, or until some manufacturer comes out with something as good sounding, that handles dynamics as well, and  is as intuitive to use (once you are used to the way), includes easily readable sound reports, and is as configurable etc etc

I know, this is all just opinion, but there are quite a few of us out there that feel the same way, I think.

Pretty sure, Cantar X3 and Cantar Mini; will still record sound for many years; unless a fatal damage will be happen. Still 788 works fine after many years.

We are about to send an email to all the Cantar owners but we realised that we were missing a lot of owners' emails.
Please send us an email with your name, location and type of machine and serial number(s) :

also invested in Scorpio as a second rig.

When Aaton disappeared from the surface as a company I invested in another X3 as a 2nd rig. Good decision so far.
