I don't know who put together those press releases, but Gordon Moore retired as president in September 2023 so maybe that is related?

I was wondering the same thing! Their April Fools posts have become something I actually look forward to each year. Maybe they decided to skip it this time, or they're just saving up for an even better one next year.
