Perhaps something that the tascam does not format on the card is screwed up. So formatting on a computer see if that shows up on the mac then format on the tascam and see of it shows upon the mac

Well the way I see it it's a test so it can't hurt to try it's not working the way it is right now I'm not saying use it on a job but just do some tests with it and see if that solves the problem if the Mac operating system can't see the card I doubt any program will

Never had a problem with the older Design damaging the microphone grill. I've never lost a wind screen to it slipping off the mic. The older ones are much better

I have a few of those cases. I thought they only held 1. I keep all mine In the petrol wireless accessory case. Can hold like 9 of them.

Even if ordered to pay in small claims court still does not mean he will pay. Would still be more work to get a collection agency to go after. Could be years before he gets a cent.

You be surprised that cage is actually quite durable when Philipe was doing a demo he twisted the piano cage pretty good and it popped right back out to proper shape so its quite durable. I just put mine (pianissimo) on top of my mixer in my husky rolling case

Remote Audio used to make one. Not sure if they still do. Never saw one but they did have on their site awhile back.

Interesting. Does Trew audio or Amy reputable store that does consignment check whether mics like the 416 are authentic and not fakes. I would hope that they would or any of the usual stores would knowingly post a fake item. Also would you not hear that it was a fake when you are testing it out before you buy? You did try it before you laid down the money? Though I have never heard what a fake 416 sounds like. I imagine of it does not sound right you would have walked away from the deal.

Petrol has had that bag for a long time. Yes its a nice handy case. I use mine to store all my np1 batteries. Fits them quite nicely.

Try doing a hard format and not just a quick format. Just a thought.
