I think Wexler could be hired for less than 1000/ day labor.

And if he don't fit on a PSC cart, Ill betcha money, chalk, or marbles hes got the chair to sit alongside it.

I don't think Ron ever made the PSC Ultra-Wide but I'd give it a go anyway, might work. I could use the money.

I have seen used Yamaha 01v96 mixers sell for a little more than $1000 on eBay. In fact, I just checked and there's one up right now for $1000 as a buy-it-now with a shipping case included. That's a very good mixer in this price range, provided it works and the pots are all clean.

What Marc said. Used 01v96 is probably your best bet if you can find one in good condition. Don't go for the Presonus. I've used the StudioLive more times than I cared to and it limited and frustrated me at every stage.
