It would be great if it had a CL-WiFi type thing to run an app on a phone or tablet. or even if it was "hard wired" with a usb cable. Anyone know if this is in the works? It's the one thing holding me back from getting one at this point.

how hard is it to turn it on and see how long it lasts?

I would really like to see a Zaxcom RX8. like the RX12 but smaller with only 4 slots for stereo RX's. for a lower price. Probably a long shot seeing as the RX12 just came out.

Any word on the problem of having a FP8 in a Nomad rig with this? i.e. there is only one serial port on the nomad. Some kind of hub thing would be great if it is possible.

is there a final street price? or do we have to wait and see it on the dealers sites?

I didn't think that remix/rerecord function was working. Are you on a Nomad? or Deva/Fusion?

Fully Loaded. 12 record tracks. 2 mix, 1 boom and 9 wireless. 2 channels of Zaxcom hops and 1 IFB tx

Just put an FP8 on my nomad. doesn't seem to work. lights up on start up but none of the faders/buttons respond. did a factory reset. still nothing. also screws up my auto pan, cannot adjust trim. argh! any help would be great. here is a pic of my "about nomad" page. any ideas Jack?, Howie?

did some tests on my computer. creation date is the same, 1969, on the mirror card and the primary card.

I was in at Trew today. asked about it but they didn't have a solution of hand. and yes, searched the manual.

I did change the button battery recently. do you think that has something to do with it?

The creation date on the files recorded to my Nomad are Wednesday, December 31, 1969 6:00 PM. The DIT I am working with had a problem with the transfer. Any idea why this is? I updated to the latest firmware 6.22. formatted the cards. factory reset. tried different cards. still the same. ​any help would be great.

Where is the event on Sunday happening? I'm in town for a wedding that weekend and it would be great meet some fellows Soundies.

a shortcut to the rec enables page would have been good.

Also would be wise to wait for the Nomad fader panel to come out to see how that would fit in.

If the case had a removable belt clip that would be great. plus a way to mount it to cameras easily.
