Interesting: the Schoeps Super-Cmit got a low level whining at the very same frequency too. According to Schoeps it’s within the specs. But audible to my ears nonetheless.

That being said I even find the 4063 bit noisy when used in a quiet environment But that is low DC and low sens. Maybe the 6060 is just doing fine on Zaxcom.

I‘ve ordered the Gravity some month ago just to check them out. They are quite heavy, have some play left and build quality was kind of cheap. The thread was damaged and I needed to use a nut to cut through it. Hope that explanation makes sense ... Thought I use it for antennas or monitors etc but for the sake of continuity I use QL only still

I´ve got both the SuperCMIT and the DNS2. It´s either the Super or the Cedar. You can´t use them together. Just a bit of Cedar attenuation and the Super will sound very, very weird. Computer / robot like.

Good customer service indeed!! (after an initial shock). The housing is identical to the V1 and there is no lable saying V2. Just the phantom power menu tells the story.

after getting my purchased ZMT48V delivered by UPS 2 days ago and then receiving the newsletter yesterday saying there is a new version available I said: WTF!!! Why am I getting the old version when there is a new one announced 1single day later?! I was furious and felt really bad. One night later I thought: why was my order postponed to end of May?! Maybe - just maybe - I have got the new version already?? And YES!! Its version 2 because I can switch the phantom to 3V! Thats awesome!! I was just saying the other day to my BoomOp: if only Zaxcom would make the ZMT48 working with lavs too. It would be a no brainer to get a 2nd one for me. And here it is!

I have installed that little choke in my CCM-Osix and can confirm that now the hiss is gone (using Zaxcom ZMT48V)! Small and effective solution. Great customer support indeed! Thanks Philippe! btw: was using a Neutrik EMC already. No help. Now it´s both.
