evolvmedia Posted August 26, 2015 Report Posted August 26, 2015 Has anyone has serious issues with the LCD screen on their 664? I turned mine on a couple days ago and the screen was almost monochromatic. The color was intermittent, then red lines started to cover certain parts of the screen. The issues hasn't repeated it's self since then, but I'm sure it'll just give out while working on set if I don't get it fixed. Unfortunately, my mixer about 5 months OUTSIDE of the 2 year warranty and Sound Devices won't cover the cost of repair or the parts. I'm curious if anyone has had similar issues? Pictures are attached. Thanks! Damen Quote
soundtrane Posted August 26, 2015 Report Posted August 26, 2015 oh, those vertical blank lines talk a story... Maybe it is possibly fixable in service - or else a new screen... Quote
Glen Deakin Posted August 26, 2015 Report Posted August 26, 2015 As the senator would say. It's broken. Quote

mikewest Posted August 29, 2015 Report Posted August 29, 2015 No the second picture is the latest update by which the 664 does a DNA test on you!!! Sorry! mike Quote
Tobi A Posted May 16, 2016 Report Posted May 16, 2016 Hi Damen, what was the outcome of this? I have a similar issue but mine is shades of blue, as well as distortions and lines. Thanks! Quote
Sandor Gyurkovics Posted October 8, 2017 Report Posted October 8, 2017 Also interested to see how this turned out. My screen gave up a couple of days ago so I borrowed another mixers 664 and when I fired it up the screen turned red just as above. Quote
