  1. All possible! Better yet, with the built in recorders, the range is ultimately limitless!
  2. Best speech ever in any movie. Although CC in The Great Dictator was good too.
  3. In the WTB-WTS section, this is what I see. Please put "FS" or "WTB" in the header title of your listing (FS: For Sale, WTB: Want To Buy). The remember to EDIT your original entry adding the word "SOLD" when the item sells. "The" remember to edit your original....etc. Minor, but I thought I'd point it out. Have a super day! Sessoms
  4. Again, this was a general test for fun. I agree having the same frequency on all of the gear is the best way to go about it. That's why we did it, and for those not on the same block, we got extremely close. It was neat to see how they all did within this environment. My pick will always go to Zaxcom because of their TRX's recording ability. This allows for infinite range capabilities. I love it! Sessoms
  5. I'm glad that you two have had great VDB poles. I bought one awhile back, and it snapped in two literally the first time I extended it out. I immediately called and replaced it with K-Tech. No problems at all.
  6. You're absolutely right! It is hard to tell what the environment can and actually did entail that day. We knew it, because we were there. It was a random location on Earth. Just like any film you work on, it will always change. These results are just based on this particular spot, and this given time. It wasn't meant to be an exact measurement of the capability in these pieces of gear. Just a very, very, general idea of what they could be capable of in a random location. I'd love to read of other tests people do, but I haven't seen any. I was just hoping to start up a convo and maybe get some neat info out. Especially with what we did with the Nomads. I'm glad you enjoyed though! Hopefully we can go even farther with these tests and get a more elaborate article going. Until then, we're all on our own to relay any data we gather. Happy Testing! -Sessoms
  7. I'd rather have someone accidentally pull out that cable, then to accidentally pull the cable; which either tears the cable apart or pulls the entire system with it. I'm not sure of another way to do it other than what JDirkze said, but I'd rather have it the way it's built. Although, I've never actually used my QRX100 in this way. Mine stays in my bag.
  8. ESE = Exceptional Student Education? 197(0-9) = date? Florida state http://www.fldoe.org/ese/ese-home.asp Probably means nothing, but it was an interesting 5 minutes of my life.
  9. Pushing on all 4 corners of the screen with light pressure can help loosen up the debris under the edges of the screen. Then taking the corner of a piece of paper and running it between the metal and screen brings any of it out. So basically what you just did. I did this and it worked fine.
  10. Hmm, that makes sense. There's a little bit of leather separating the two. Maybe that's insulation enough.
  11. My wallet has a built in magnet bill holder. I'm surprised it hasn't erased my cards.
  12. You're right. Having some other busy channels to collide with is a great test. I must say though, we weren't in the best of locations either. We did our tests at a local university and it's probably one of the biggest hot spots for freq traffic. It's a tech school and there's a lot going on. Yes, we did find the best frequencies on the blocks. I think doing a test with the best and the worst is something we'll try next. Thanks for the suggestion.
  13. This was absolutely amazing. You've inspired me. I felt like I was watching a 4 minute long Vine clip. Great work.
  14. Very cool! I'd love to get my hands on one of these. I have a QRX100 and some LAs and now I can't live without Zaxnet. It's...so...awesome!
  15. Nice! Looks like a good fit for those as well!
  16. I'd love to get my hands on one of them!
  17. I'm selling mine if you're interested! -Sessoms
  18. I know most 1st generation ipod cases work very well. A buddy of mine uses some made of leather. He said they were cheap, but other than that, I'm not sure where to get them.
