Olle Sjostrom Posted September 21, 2013 Author Report Posted September 21, 2013 Olle, I missed your Jaipur post, that stuff is brewed about 10 miles from where I live, there brewery produces some amazing beer, I have a few bottles of Raven which won't see the weekend out, plus a couple of Jaipur just in case! That's awesome! As I age, I realize most of my favorite brews come from the GB. Black Isle brewery in Scotland is awesome. Surely, american brews are good too, but British brews just seem to have more flair and panache. Have yet to try raven tho.. I'll give it a go! Oh, and beautiful labels too. Quote
Jon Gilbert Posted September 21, 2013 Report Posted September 21, 2013 Their favourite brew of mine Olle is Halcyon, a stonger IPA than Jaipur, sorts the men from the boys, worth seeking out! Quote
Jon Gilbert Posted December 6, 2013 Report Posted December 6, 2013 A new beer shop has opened in my local market, I couldn't resist this one. Quote
Angelo Waldron Posted December 6, 2013 Report Posted December 6, 2013 ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362251327.315432.jpg having a beautiful UK IPA called Jaipur by Thornbridge Brewery while hanging out with Ty Ford, Whit Norris, Eric Toline, Michael Clark and Chris Calandro! Boomboom Posted December 11, 2013 Report Posted December 11, 2013 Sci-fi beers... The only thing that's got to come to reality is actually filling them up! http://designtaxi.com/news/362615/Star-Wars-Themed-Beers-Look-Like-They-Were-Made-Using-The-Force/ Quote
Ju Griz Posted December 16, 2013 Report Posted December 16, 2013 I find it hilarious how beer/alcohol is so aptly described using audio terms. It's the In Flames singer who's the brewmaster something something... I love In Flames. I want to go to Sweden almost entirely because of the music from over there. But now I also have this beer as additional incentive. But Anders Friden wasn't the first... http://firstwefeast.com/drink/headbangers-brew-a-history-of-heavy-metal-and-craft-beer-collaborations/ If you have ever been to Utah. I was totally gonna post this one... but you beat me to it. I laughed so hard when I saw this. Quote
Jon Gilbert Posted January 25, 2014 Report Posted January 25, 2014 Couple of new ones today, very good! Quote
Olle Sjostrom Posted January 26, 2014 Author Report Posted January 26, 2014 Hey that Norwegian brewery is cool. They make some great stuff. Had a Belgian style pale ale today, I'll pay pictures later. Awesome too Quote
Miles Anderson Posted January 26, 2014 Report Posted January 26, 2014 check out Ø's brown ales. the imperial is a fizzy hoppy one. haand bryggeriet makes a nice winter beer called dark force that is 9% and you can stand a spoon up in it. not for the faint of heart. Quote

graham Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 This tickles me everytime........ Kindest, sb I like reading those bottles... "What makes this beer different from any other beer" etc Quote
Olle Sjostrom Posted March 6, 2014 Author Report Posted March 6, 2014 Jai Alai IPA from Florida! Fruity. Not a wow experience, but solid and okay. Quote

Jon Gilbert Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 What's in a name? More great stuff from the folks at Tool. Quote
Jon Gilbert Posted December 9, 2014 Report Posted December 9, 2014 Been quiet here hasn't it! We need an 8.9% Bacon, chipotle and maple stout to get things going. Quote
Rob Stalder Posted December 9, 2014 Report Posted December 9, 2014 Recently Introduced to these. With an exchange rate of AUD$1 to US86 cents, carton cost me about AUD$85. I gave it a 95 out 100 score... So even as the AUD$ sinks to US82 cents, there will be another carton soon. I drank them all out of the bottle, too impatient I guess. Still I was surprised at the complexity of taste, but next time I will try in a glass. Rob Quote
RadoStefanov Posted December 23, 2014 Report Posted December 23, 2014 I love port. But what I like more is Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban Extra Matured in Port Casks. jason porter Posted December 23, 2014 Report Posted December 23, 2014 I recently discovered Yeungling while on a short road trip to PA. Me and the crew thought it was great everyday beer! Olle Sjostrom Posted December 28, 2014 Author Report Posted December 28, 2014 Christmas equals lots of beer. Lot of those beers were Swedish so won't be uploading pics of those as you probably won't be able to get them... Had this one. Marvelous. They did it again. Quote
Pat Slater Posted January 3, 2015 Report Posted January 3, 2015 Had to try this brew while having a feed at the Oyster Bar , Grand Central Terminal NYC Quote
