Derek H
Wonder what the RF power is like.. and price. The adaptive antenna sounds great.
Christian Spaeth
Quite similar in features to the ULX series, which are great and a standard in event and theater applications. RF power is very low but range is very good nonetheless. No portable receivers though for both ULX and ADX series.
VASI
From promo video, range is great.

Derek H
I can't seem to find a user manual for the ADX1M. Is that because it's not officially available yet?
Philip Perkins
Pretty darn cool. Great for us that they included a body-pack scenario.
VASI
In promo video; the guy with handheld wireless microphone, said 10mW and range was around 200 yards. Did I hear it correctly about 10mW?
Glen Deakin
Yep. Your correct 10mW.
daniel
Up to 47 channels (in HD mode @ 2mw) in to 1 TV 6mhz band.
VASI
Does anybody have more information about this in picture below? Signal quality is maximized by transmitting two identical signals on independent frequencies. If the active signal degrades, the other takes over automatically. 8 hours ago, Derek H said: I can't seem to find a user manual for the ADX1M. Is that because it's not officially available yet? Website says: Available early 2018
Lancashire soundie
Perhaps it's just me but the audio quality on the two presenters positioned very far from the receiver is awful. Hardly any sibilance, their voices sound artificially limited in frequency range.

One of reasons why every audio manufacturer should NOT demonstrate "sound quality" via YouTube
Derek H
Ok Shure, you've got my attention now just make a portable dual receiver the size of a 411 or smaller and we'll see.
Philip Perkins
So far Shure hasn't seemed very interested in getting into porto-wireless world--just one model (the FP15, $500 for TX+RX). Has anyone used these, esp vs. Lectro/Zax/Wisy?
AnuarYahya
I want to see them try their tests when the stadiums full..

Constantin
Yes, the entire system looks really interesting! If at least those receivers could run on 12V, but doesn't look likely

Constantin
Hi Constantin, I searched for this and I found: Well that's a start, although it needs to be seen what that means in practice. Still, a bag receiver would be great...
abuck050
Little more of how the RF for the Axient system works. Shure has a bunch of other videos on their youtube page as well that goes over the individual features of their Axient system.

Philip there is also the UR1 tx and UR5 receiver. http://cdn.shure.com/user_guide/upload/89/pdf_en_ur5_portable_wireless_receiver_ug.pdf http://www.shure.com/americas/products/wireless-systems/uhfr-systems/ur1-bodypack-transmitter $800 for the tx and $1200 for the rx. I demoed one of these sets a while back. They have very good range and sound pretty good. Although not as nice as Lectro to my ear.
al mcguire
Getting a Shure guy to hold a Lectrosonics plug on transmitter while talking about his new product, priceless
daniel
I enjoyed this too but it must be an occupational hazard at these events.
