Johnny Karlsson Posted April 18, 2022 Report Posted April 18, 2022 If you can make an electric cargo mini van, I’ll be interested. Quote

Moesound Posted April 18, 2022 Report Posted April 18, 2022 Many electric vans/cargo options on the near horizon. The market is there and will be filled soon, I believe. Been reading a lot about this very question, and it seems that most of the manufacturers have cargo vehicles in the pipeline. Here’s hoping! Best, Moe Quote
Olle Sjostrom Posted April 18, 2022 Report Posted April 18, 2022 A bit OT, but this topic is already OT to begin with so I don't see the harm... Quote

Speaking of lightning, the new Ford Lightning, particularly the "Pro" version, might be the best bang for buck in terms of electric sound vehicles. Front "frunk" is huge and has AC power outlets so you can charge batteries / hold gear etc and then throw a shell on the truck bed portion and you have a pretty damn capable gear hauler for $40k. Allen Rowand Posted April 19, 2022 Report Posted April 19, 2022 Just need K-Tek to come up with a bag holder to go where the gas tank would be: https://sondorsx.com/pages/metacycle Quote

And if you're working as a Boom Operator swinging your pole all day, and really good at it, maybe so good that people would call you a star (?!) then you could buy yourself a Polestar 2 and just glide silently up to location. ... Nah. Maybe only for the name. And that one time that "joke" might be funny.. to that one guy in the crew who appreciates puns. Quote
