Was looking for an easy way to hang some light things up in the Van bought a few of these magnets on Amazon $5.80 each plus $3.22 shipping for my whole order I bought 3 to start with My rain gear bag didn't move at all during my 400 mile trip last week. Also hung up 50 ft of XLR via a bongo tie to test it stayed in place as well

Tulle

A great and inexpensive solution for booming in the rain. Wrap the tulle on the windshield (not the front side) at the sides and the back side (a little more). Acoustic transparency without to hear the drops from rain (or technical rain). The advantage of tulle? You can have it completely dry with few twitches (this is the word?).

Remote Rainman is cool, but expensive (100€).
