ProSound
>it is very unfortunate that a lot of people are still using block specific wireless. It is not unfortunate, it is a choice. Wide Band would have zero effect on my workflow. Why get rid of what works for me ? +1 I am happy with my current SRB/ MM400/ HM set up. When they have a wide band SRB type RX I will consider upgrading for flexibility. After talking to Gordon at Length about it last year. He felt I had 5-6 years of good use out of my current set up at minimum so I will continue to cash my checks with the current set up. What I would buy ASAP if it came out would be a purpose built Stereo Camera Link TX
Wandering Ear
Since Zaxcom does not want to make my ONEUnit device maybe sound devices will make a new recorder with slots for Lectro SRb or wysicom. This will eliminate power distros and analog cables and will make ONEUnit devices with hirose connection to a battery cup... What's the difference between this and using an octopack, besides the audio cabling? Power and rf distro built in.
patrickveigel
I would like to see a newer version of Zaxcom's TRX 942 boom transceiver. With Neverclip, transmission of both AES channels, connection of PTT mike for boom op communication and the same battery peace of mind that was granted by previous models. I'd buy two, immediately, along with a Mix 10 ;-)
VASI
A shotgun mic with pros from Sanken CS-3 and Schoeps CMIT5U. A supercardioid mic with pros from Sennheiser MKH50 and Schoeps CMC6/MK41. Analog and digital versions.
Erkal Taskin
Audio Wireless do one. Not sure if it's in production yet, but they had a prototype at IBC last year They are designing one with a very wide spectrum I believe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
mikewest
Gee my last post did not make it so: Fader box for the 664 Black indents (not white on gain trims) for 664 as I have previously suggested USB socket on rear of 664 to take a USB bluetooth dongle receiver for keyboard mike

Boomboom
Matt, while we're here: no more spare knobs for the 442 ? (I mean, the main, big ones)
Matt Mayer
Matt, while we're here: no more spare knobs for the 442 ? (I mean, the main, big ones) Pierre, Correct, looks like they have been out of stock for quite a while now. Confirmed that CL-8 Knobs will work on the 442. Matthias Richter
I would like to see a Teradek Bolt system that feeds more than 4 receivers with the possibility to pair (my) receiver with any Bolt coming to a set. And at a cost per receiver less than $300.
Boomboom
Matt: but the knobs for 788 seem to be out of order as well, no ? They don't appear on the website...
Matt Mayer
Matt: but the knobs for 788 seem to be out of order as well, no ? They don't appear on the website... I don't think the CL-8 knobs were a standard accessory part, so they weren't listed on the website. They are available as a service part. Check with your reseller, they should be able to get the knobs with no problem.

olphi
In regard of the new products from sound devices, I will be interested by a SL-6 MINI. With just the RF distribution part + USB charging dock + 4 Hi-rose power distribution. A sort of PSC RF multi SMA + power distribution. Lancashire soundie
I'm still holding out for a microphone basket that can fold flat and be stored on the back of my audio bag, rather than left rolling around on a table somewhere. I mean, you can buy a whole tent that pops up in seconds. Why can't that be done with a basket?

codyman
A more compact, multiblock VR Field and just more multiblock RF products in general. If I could eliminate RF interference and lav rustle, my job would be infinitely less stressful.
Tom Visser
Something very specific I'm looking for at NAB - something from Zaxcom. Smaller (like same size as MAXX) RX12 with built in Zaxnet Tx AND/OR Maxx replacement with built in 4-mono channel UHF receiver and Zaxnet transmitter option (don't need UHF transmitter unless Zaxcom starts making slot-in receivers)
