Glenn That's an offer I'm gonna have trouble turning down, Glenn Just ordered a second TRX700 so maybe we can spend shipping costs on lunch. Gotta say thanks to everyone for your kind comments. The best thing about this so far has been the increased sense of belonging to our marvelous sound community. Very happy about that. Very happy indeed. Quote

old school Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 David is a fun loving and award winning mixer who has had many successful members of his crews move up and succeed as well. On the outside corners of the picture is Dan Kent and Steve Bowerman. I have had the pleasure of working with both of them for extended periods of time. Great guys who are fun team mates. That is a key to success IMO. You guys do a good job at Sound & Picture. Thanks. CrewC Quote
Rob Stalder Posted August 4, 2012 Report Posted August 4, 2012 Jan congrats on your nomination. Very personal and educating interview, particularely for newcomers. Thanks to you and "Sound & Picture" for sharing. RS Quote
mikewest Posted August 4, 2012 Report Posted August 4, 2012 Congrats Jan, Hard work honesty and a good work ethic always pay off. Age, well we all have it. After 46 years in the business I still turn out good results but>>>> I realise that I'm more experienced than Producers, UPM's and Directors that I work for and have to advise gently as to what is practical or needed. My huge C/V means nothing, I have to be good today!! At nearly 70 I realise that I have to be punctual smarter and on the ball more than any of the guys I work with who are the age of my children!!!!!!!!!!! Out of all this I get great respect and good feedback. It's ultimately about how you deal with people. Fondest and congrats again mike Quote
